ok, so i have been thinking about just making a slew of xmas cards, just to get them ready and all. well, i just picked up my xmas box (the 13x13 pizza style box wich holds all my xmas paper and embellies and ribbon). well, the box was very light.
i hardly have any xmas stuff to make cards with. BUT, i think i will just use what i have and buy some after xmas or on black friday for next year.

wellllllll...I had some from last year that came in handy for all the cards I made for Elizabeth. I bought a stack of cardstock today and Joanns with a 40% coupon. It will be on sale tomorrow, but not sure if I were getting there...I haven't made any cards for me yet!

You can make do with you've got by adding other printed, striped, textured, etc. papers that may coordinate with it. It doesn't have to be themed Xmas. You can always do a paper piecing or use a snowflake or ornament punch to make your own embellies out of other solid colors. I've seen some cute cards for Xmas that are totally non Xmas colors too, like pink and red, purple and blue, etc. Natural kraft color or creme with gold looks classy too.
