Seems like no matter where I go, someone is enabling me....

As most of you know, I have been talking about Sure Cuts A Lot like forever and kept putting off getting it. Sitting across from me at the SWARM, were two 'older' ladies with their laptop and SCAL program working away and learning together.  Naturally, I had to find out more about this product first hand.

So.....I was able to order the software and a CD $30.00 less than most places are selling it for.  I will get the serial number in a day or two and download the software.  Then, when I get the CD, I'll have a backup.

Now, I really need to schedule my time better to get all the things done that I plan/need to do ..

I have been debating between SCAL and DS for awhile, can't wait to hear your review on SCAL!

Sure Cuts A Lot is another program for the Cricut, but instead of cutting from cartridges it cuts any True Type font you can download and dingbats.

Besides the SCAL, there is another 'free' program called Inkscape that works with SCAL and then on to Cricut for cutting.

Here is something I did when I first heard about the program, but since I didn't have the licensed SCAL, I didn't bother cutting it out.  If you download the trial 'free' SCAL, it will cut lines through your cut and it's useless.  But, you get to see what the SCAL is all about.

This was done from a photo of Joe. His nose is not the pointy....I'll be practicing the tracing until I get it looking better and not so shaky....
