Paula, not sure I'm following you.  Are you alking about the corner with the photo is over the button?

If so, you can use your erase tool.  However, if you saved everything as merged, you won't be able to do it.

I know I have a problem sometimes when I want somthing on top and it goes 'under'.  There is a prompt that will allow me to change how I want it.  Remember, I use PSP 8

What program are you using?  In PSE 4 you can also do "right-click" then select "Move backward" on the picture that is hanging over until it falls behind embellishment and the other photo.

i did the move forward/backward but either one or the other photo is overlapping the other. but it's not overlapping like it should. here is the template

ok, so i drop in the pic in the left frame, move back, this leaves some of it visible in the right frame. now i drop my other pic into the right frame.

this is where it gets goofy

and move back. the left pic's corner is visible over the right pic. so i tried it the other way (did the right first, then the left) and i got what i posted up above (in my orig post); where part of the right pic hangs over on top of the left pic.

man, i hope that makes sense.

Did you put each photo on its own layer?  If you did you can go in with the eraser tool like Roe said and rub out everything outside of the frame on each individual layer.

Which software are you on?

If this is a premade "quick page", you can't change the conformation of the picture spaces. What you need to do is put the pictures in a layer beneath the page so they show thru the spaces. Make sense??????

Paula, hope you got this worked out.  I wd not do the eraser, but size down your photo to fit by using the corners to make smaller or larger as needed.  Then move to back, to fit where you want it.  If the wrong one is in front, then move that one back.  Play till you get it.  And you will.  It's really fun and easy once you get the hang of it.  A quick page is a great way to learn the basic movement.  Have fun!
