I'm not going to kid you, this was a pain to get together....Just when I thought I had it done, I had it upside down..yep the wall hooks were on the bottom. I managed to get the paper off the back piece only to have things move on me. Fixed it, put it in the frame, closed the tabs and...had to undo it again. A couple of the photos shifted. Ok, I'm not going to tell you how many times this thing got taken apart and put back together....
Enclosed his the original adoption paper from the day we adopted Luee. His original name was Midnight and yes, he was pretty dark at the time. This was at Downtown Disney and the first weekend in February would be these Doggone Days. I still remember the day we got him and walking around. People commented that we must have just adopted because we looked like proud parents....
Our local fire department would raise money by having a professional photographer take photos. No one wanted to go, so I went with Luee. Joe and the boys didn't see anything strange, but the rest of the family thought I was nuts. I didn't think so and I'm glad I did it. Maybe even more weird was sending the photo in Christmas cards.....
Notice his scraf? Yep, little mickey heads. There was a time when Disney sold other things beside toys and t-shirts....
I'm going to do some journaling and put it in an envelope attached to the back. With all the photo disks I went through, I couldn't find any photos of the boys with Luee. I'm sure I have some, just couldn't find them. And besides, I think these photos with Nina and Ian show what kind of loving and playful dog Luee was.
This is the best picture I could get of the box. Glass is a pain to photograph....
