Roe, I started this last night and it looks terrible. I even looked up the tutorial from the guy that designed the card, Michael..... His directions were even more confusing!
Just a suggestion that may help me and others, maybe you could do another one of these, but use 2 colors of cards so we can see exactly where they go. IT's very hard to tell with the white on white cards.
I really love your finished cards and want to get this right! !

Katt, your base card is just your regular fold down the middle card. The card that goes on top must be the same size as the card it will be sitting on or 'inside'..
Take your 'inside card' and it should have a score line down the middle. If not (like you cut your own paper and not a premade card), find the middle and score. Then, from each side score IN 1/2 inch.
Before you add tape, you need to cut your open space. Lay it flat with the score line in a mountain position. That means if you were to close the card the fold would be pointing up. Now, with your card flat, cut your opening on the left side.
Once you do that, you are ready to glue. Crease your score lines with a bone folder and they should be folded in (or under) Which means all the score lines will be 'mountain folds'.
Tape along the 1/2 inch folds. Take the side with the opening and line up that 1/2 so the edge is lined up with the inside of the outside or base card.
Once you do that, you will take the 'solid' side and match that up to the inside crease of the base card.
What you have now is this inside card looking like a mountain or tunnel inside the base card.
Are you will me so far? If so, are you able to follow the photos now because it would be easier to see then explain what you need to do with your palm to get the crease and where to put your last piece of tape to keep the inside looking like a shadow box..

This is the part that is confusing me. I get where to tape, but what I failing to comprehend, is where to attach.
Ok, so I have my inside, folded. Cut-out on the left. 1/2 inch mountain fold on the left. adhesive on the 1/2 inch. Does that get attached to the left or right of the outside card's center line???
Then after that is attached does the other side overlap the one we just taped or does it sit next to it??
Forgive me I am not fully functional today...see earlier post regarding ER.

Katt, no problem..
When you match up the taped fold, get it as close as you can to the left side of the center fold line of the base card. When you bring down the right side of the card, line up that fold to the closest possible to the right side of the fold. the two taped pieces should be 'kissing'. That way, you still have the center crease to fold the card without anything stopping it.
