~ i'm back..and with PICS ~
dh and i drove to the other side of vancouver island today
we were gone all day..sure was nice to get out
i took these pics with my new camera..all on *auto*
whohoo ~ they turned out! not bad for a new NIKON chickie 
i took this one ~ before we left this morning ~ through my
front window ~ what a great way to start the day heh
it turned out not bad for takin it through the glass
we drove through *pacific rim park* and walked around the park
whoa...it's got huge trees in there ~ absolutely beautiful
here's the sun trying to peek through the trees
here's dh trying to be a tree hugger..big tree eh!
then we drove through *coombs* and dinky lil town with some kewl shops
that's their taxi..sittin in the middle of town square
and this is a pic of *part* of a hand carved stone statue..man, the work
put into the thing was totally amazing! it stands about 20 ft high

wow!!..Mel these are awesme!!..The colors in the first are beautiful!..
Question...once you downloaded them into the computer, did you have to do any 'autofix'? I find that sometimes, even in the best of situations, I need to do an 'autofix'...
Though you used auto, did you change your settings at all? ie: to landscape, night, etc...Ok, guess that's two questions....

roe ~ i cropped and resized all pics
i only edited the *tree hugger* one..i had to lighten a tad, as
we were in the forest...and quit dark in there..as you can see by
the pic of the sun shining through the trees..hth
i didn't change any settings on the camera
everything was auto
