You won't regret looking at this

Take a look, if you have about 2-4 minutes.

Run it with your right arrow key all the way to the end, then let go and watch it go by.

I will be curious as to your thoughts.

Marlene, I went though all the 'photos' and thought it was stupid since I didn't understand the jest of it.  Then I hit the 'info' button on top and though now I know what the photos are, I still think it's stupid.  Maybe I'm having one of those days, but duh, everyone is going to die so what's the point?  That no one noticed he was taking their photo? Maybe he wasn't standing that close to them for them to be tripping over him.  Yeah, zoom lens are pretty handy that way..

Ok, so what is you take on this?

Well, I guess I did waste your time with it, Roe.

I see it very differently.  It's a photo essay - people going from one place to another, in their lives, all with different purposes, goals, issues, joys, etc.  I think this would be a very interesting photo study in a lot of places around the world, simply the days of our lives.

As for the title, I get the idea, tho I am not nuts about the title.  To me the idea is something along the lines of the brevity of life (only that because of the title the photographer gave).

If it were my photo/s, I might name it something different, not sure what but something like Fleeting Moments on a Bridge.  Not too profound, would have to think about it.

Anyway, I really like it.  In fact, would love to know how it was done.  Peter likes it too, but then he's the photog.

Marlene, it wasn't a waste of my time, honest.  It gave me something to think about; I just did see the message.  Maybe, like you said, with a different title/objective I would see what it was the photographer was trying to capture.

Something like 'into our lives...' and then leave it at that.

i thought some of the pix were interesting (altough, i like to people watch). some seemed kinda bland. i just took it as "a day in the life" kina thing. i think the title stinx, but i like the 100m of people concept. artistic. everone is going to see iut diff.

I do think it's a neat concept also Marlene. I think the artist would get a better response from the HYWWP audience if it were titled differenly but it is neat. I am sure a lot of work went into piecing that together.

Thanks for sharing

I guess I really saw it differently.  To me, it showed what a hurry people are always in.  There were very few smiles.  I really took in the ones that I saw, or the two or three couples embracing or kissing.  The rest was just busy people speeding through their lives, even the mother with the stroller, and the dad with the baby in the sling.  I think this is to make people slow down, and don't be in such a rush to get to the death part which is inevitable.

Make any sense?

I don't really know what to think.... it's interesting to look at.... but I guess I just don't get a huge sense of importance...... I did have to go over it a few times to catch a different glimpse...

hmmm...

It's great reading eveyones thoughts on the subject. Whatever you take from it, I think its definately an "out there" thought and it actually takes some thinking to process it!
