Karen, I read that last night and someone questioned about the 5 cuts. our machines only go up to 4.
Michele and her mom were here today and I gave a lesson on the Cricut. Pretty much, my observation is no two blades are the same. Do a cut on a piece of scrap and see if it works the way you want. I cut acrylic last night with my deep cut blade. Not quite doing what I expected so that is why I found the info you gave. It didn't help with acrylic...But!!..I did get it to cut!!! Keep the tips coming!!..Always something new to learn..

I really didn't look at it very much. It was something that was posted by a retailer so I thought I'd share. I can't update the firmware so my bug is pooped out for now....the site isn't working to DL the info.  . have to make some b-day cards too. plan b is it I guess.

Michele is a new member. I met her a couple weeks ago at my nephew's house. She is related to his wife. Doesn't take much to find a cardmaker/scrapbooker.. ...
She interested in the Cricut, but wanted to see it in action first. She was a quick learner so she should do well. I did explain how the machine can get a little quirkey sometimes... ...

I just clicked on it (different computer) and it went straight there...to media fire. Now there were a bunch of pop ups but the site was still there to click to d/l.
Roe- the cricut site has the update pulled...for some reason. it can't be downloaded. :( I forgot how to just use it from the machine....  esp mixing the carts. Whatcha doin on Sat towards the afternoon/ evening-after Joe is finished most of his cleaning??
