Some from today

Took my camera out with me today when I did some stuff at church ... took a few shots, found a couple wonderful places to play with my cam.

wow, marlene they are awesome!!..Where you playing around with settings or auto/auto setting?

I need to get out and play with my camera!

I am shooting almost entirely on manual.  I get better pics, I think.  When pressed, I put it on an auto setting.  I am learning a LOT!  Most of those shots were taken in too bright light, but adjusting for that did the trick.  I do have some I want to take again, early morning.  Maybe tomorrow ...

Oh, I love that old building....just plain love old buildings  And the one with the daffys reflected in the pond is gorgeous.

Lynn, fly over here and take pics of old buildings with me!  I have four places I am dying to do, all people's homes, I don't know, and too chicken to walk up to their door and ask if I can take pictures!  You could give me courage!!!  And all are within 5 mi of home!  I was nervous just doing that one from the road!

Marlene, that's great!..

Can you share, what do you find works for you?  Changing what in manual?  Do you setup you numbers of what you think they should be and then shoot?

I need to study more on the ISO and aperture.  I think once I learn that I'll feel more comfortable doing manual..

I would absolutely love to, Marlene...I have no problem asking someone if I can take a photo.  I love old houses...old barns. Lots of cool old buildings in Montana that were lineshacks for when the cowboys were out tending fences and cattle...Love the colors of the old wood and the general worn look.  My, I do ramble.
