Scraproom updateVickieW gave me the idea of the rod for my punches after seeing photos of her project. I bought the white rod yesterday and Joe hung it up for me last night while I was at my meeting. Today, while in Target, I bought another rod, but they didn't have white, it was less then $3.00, so I didn't care.. ..I hung it up myself and the center hooks used as a brace. So, looks like unless I have room for another rod, I can't buy any more punches. All the smaller punches (corners, flowers, etc) are in a drawer. It's been a long time since I pulled out the screwdriver and 'my' drill....
I recently changed the rod for my ribbons. Several weeks ago Target had the clip rings on sale in their drapery dept. How perfect since that is what I wanted and didn't want to spend a lot of money!!..My ribbons are somewhat color coded in plastic bags hanging on the clips. As you can see, there is a variety of stash hanging there.
I also moved my table so as you enter the room, there is my work area. The bar is behind me and I can still see out the window. I have so much more room!!. I did take out one of the shelves and have it in the spare bedroom with all the albums on it.
Just ignor the mess!!!..I've had several projects going at one time..
Ok, I need to focus....

Krissy, when I first got into the room, I had a wooden rod with the spools of ribbon on it. It was time for a change, so I thought of the curtain/drapery clips. I'm sure you've seen them; rings with a clip on the top. By opening the ring a little, I was able to slide it over the rod when I relized I need more and for in the center. I think I bought every one that was on sale and if you were to see them up close, some are silver and some are gold....Do I care??...nope!!....
The hooks for the rod are more for drapery and not cafe. Cafe is closer to the wall whiched worked for the punches, but not when I needed room for the spools. It was a perfect distance for spools if that give you an idea.
Guess I should clean up my work table so I can make a mess again...
