You can get a scoring blade for most trimmers. I have the Fiskars trimmer and all you need is the black blade for it! They are super nice!

cool! i didn't know that. most of the scoring tools i see in stores (regular not scrap) are a ompletely separate tool. they dont' have attachments and such. at least not that i've seen. course, i haven't been in about a month either....

I used to have a Fiskars with the scoring blade, but it tore instead of scored. Since then I simply use my stylus and run it down my cutter in the same spot where I cut. Hope that made sense. It may not be a perfect scoring, but I have no complaints. And don't need another tool.

I have had that problem in the past you just don't have to push as hard as you do with the blade - takes a very gentle touch.
