Question about paint/stamps

What kinds of paint brushes is okay to use on stamps?   I'd like to buy a set of paint brushes or pens to color rubber stamps with but don't want to buy something that might ruin them.

I'm not too finicky, but I just use foam brushes with acrylic paint... I buy them on really cheap sale (20/$1) and throw them out when I'm done... then just wash with soap and water..

I need a set of pens (or brushes, whatever) to take to retreat.    I don't want to take bottles of acrylic paints and brushes (foam), but I appreciate you responding.

The only time I've used paint is with the spongy rubber stamps. You know the ones I'm talking about?  You can get them for like a $1.00 in the craft section.  I like the sponge brush; they are usually on sale and not expensive at all.

sorry I couldn't be of more help..

If you are talking about the paint pens, they REAlly need to be used in a well-ventilated place and I'm not sure how the properties in those would react with the rubber or acrylic in the stamps...Prob your best bet would be something like Marvy pens.

I think you're talking about brush tipped markers.  Look in the aisle where they sell the rubber stamps and there is usually a set or two of the brush tipped markers in different colors.  That is what a lot of gals use to color in different parts of the stamp to stamp with more than one color at a time.  It works better on fat filled in areas of the stamp.  You can also use the markers to color inside the stamped lines after the image is stamped on paper.
