Problem with clear stampsI'm having a problem with some of my stamps sticking to the acrylic block. I even bought new blocks thinking the ones I had were getting ruined. It's not the blocks.
Some of my stamps stick really well, but it seems the ones I recently bought in a pack (forget whose, but from a company you wouldn't expect problems from) keep falling off. I've been using doublesided tape, but not happy having to do that.
When I clean them, I do not use soap and I do not dry them. I let them air dry on my bathroom counter.
Help!!!!..any suggestions???

Thanks, Nee...does it last a while or do you need to spray everytime you need your stamp to stick. I always put my stamps back on the plastic sheet it came with, but I've actually lost stamps because they didn't hold and I didn't know it!

I always reapply it, but I wash it off everytime...I suppose if you left it on, it would stay tacky...

Maybe there's too much baby powder on the bathroom counter...

funny...I actually use the guest bathroom because that is right outside my scraproom...Great for washing up stuff too..
I use baby powder every day!! I stand on my shower towel so I don't make to much of a mess.. ..Trust me, if I don't clean up, Joe does...(lucky me!!)

Wendi, I use baby wipes too, but I still lost the stickyness (or is it stickiness?)....

Some clear stamps just do that...loose their stickyness...I just use a bit of my adhesive runner and wash off everytime. That lady who owned a stamp site that was here for a while said you shouldn't leave them mounted on the stuff they come on either...just an idea.

the sheets they come on supposedly are treated with something for 'shelf life' I think is what she said. She recommeded cd cases and some other things. I still keep some of mine that way, just because I haven't switched. But I really like the inserts for 3 ring binders I bought at www.mandarinpixie.com they're on sale there now I believe with the store closing...
