Photography ClassI know it's already half way through the month, but the photography class Lynn and I are taking is still available. I am sure you can jump on in. She has only done the first two weeks of the lessons. The first was on ISO, fstops, and shutter speed. Lighting, in other words. All she is going over applies to any camera (except maybe one that does nothing but take a picture), so you can learn those settings you never use. And make you photos better.
This second week I haven't read yet - but looks good, called Creative Conundrums (flash, zoom, etc).
She's easy to follow but quite detailed. All the lessons are in PDF form. I've downloaded and saved them.
Each day is a photo challenge - one photo required, practicing something in particular. And there are supposed to be tips for everyday but so far just 7. But they are very helpful.
Anyway, you can still sign up. It's only $20. Then all the info will be yours to keep.

dslr is not a requirement...any point and shoot...tho with having to turn in pics daily would not allow for a film camera, I suppose.
I am so far behind with company and such.

probably less than half of us have a DSLR, Amy. I don't. I am making myself get more out of my settings on my camera - very helpful. Love to have you!
Did I say it was only $20?

Yeah, baby, bring on the DSLR!!! What are you thnking of getting? I am hinting - can you say yelling, putting on everyone's bathroom mirror, sticking on dinner plates, sending emails and postcards - that I want one, too. Badly!
But I may still have to keep waiting a bit, thusI am sharpening my skills on my current camera.
Anyway, what are you gonna get?

i haven't quite decided....i'm leaning toward the Canon Rebel XSi or a Nikon D90. i've only done a little research as i know it's not in my budget just yet.
