OMG!! I GOT IT!!I GOT the cricut DS program!!
i've just been playing around alittle nad this is gonna be great! i can see getting photo pats made easy! i can see making awesome photo mats that aren't just squared off! i caee a lot of possibilities!!!

You are going to have so much fun designing!!.. Remember too, you can play around with those cartridges you don't have to see if they are something you want in your collection.

so do you really get all those carts for FREE? or is it jsut some of the stuff that comes on those carts??

Paula, you don't get any free carts unless you bought a package and it's a bonus. When you open your DS, you will see in the drop down all the cartridges. You can play with any of them, but unless you have the cartridge, you can't cut.

OK....this cart is going to make making cards/envelopes SOOOOOO easy!!!! i am thrilled i got this. i haven't cut anything yet, but i've been playong with it and i LOVE it!!!!!

jsut one question........can i use my existing carts (that are NOT on the list which came w/DS) on DS??? i really want to, but CAN i??? if so...HOW?

Paula, all the carts should be listed on the drop down. if not, just do a firmare update and it will bring it all there. Go to help on the open DS and it was say update.
See if that does the trick..

did thast. 51 carts listed, but no wild card or a few others i have. let me try again.
only 9 of the 14 carts i have are listed. that normal?

no, they should all be there after you update. Are you following the directions with your machine and the update?

huh. odd.
i did that firmware t;hing twice. i'll play around a bit more and see what i can do. if nothing else, i'll just contact cricut or something.
