ok a lil whine....updateI dont' have any good black CS on hand....  of all colors!!! I have a "value" pack that is nothing more than heavy PP weight so it's not good for cards.
I guess I'll have to drag my butt to Mike's to get some as I'm trying to make NY's cards since Christmas has past and didn't make/get those cards out.  and yeah I know it's the 2nd already.
I'm trying out my Wild Cards Cart out as they have a NY's card on it.

karen, Joanns has paper on sale 5 for 1.00 I bought a pack of black at Target or Walmart that I will not use again on the mat!..it leaves little fuzzies. If I remember correctly, it was Paperbilities.

cant' remember if it's mike's or joann's, but one of them has black cards/envelopes for fairly cheap. all you have to do is embellie. prob cheaper in the long run, since black acardstock is so hard to come by sometimes and very rarely comes in the paper packs.
WM generally has a paper pack that's white/brown/black/cream or all black. i've only seen them here in the 8x11 size though. otherwise, i go to lss for a big pack of the black.

I went to Mikes to get the Making Memories pack...for $6-7 on sale. it's nice and stiff. works just fine. It's all black.
and yes one of my mats as a bit of a "fog" in one place that I think water dripped on the CS.
but I'm past upset about the 3 mats I have....all the glue dot stickies keep comeing off... I meant it looks like I'm ripping off the cuts from those old school adhesive sheets they have for die cuts. I guess Monday I'll call Cricut and see what they say. I got one with my machine and did cave and get a pack more (2 mats) even tho mother Roe said not to. esp with this project it's come in handy to have them all ready to load and cut.
I guess I'll go tomrrow to find the repositionable spray adhesive as one mat is almost done for. and it's only bee used for about 8 shest worth of cutting.
