I tell you.....a lot of times, i feel intimidated when i see what beautiful cards you all make. i feel like mine just aren't quite up to par.
don't get me wrong, i realize that those amazing cards you guys make have taken a lot of practice and time and i know mine will be just as georgeous as yours one day!
i'm just starting, i don't expect mine to be fabu, by any means. nor do i think mine are horrible (ok, that sounds a bit conceited....). i just mean, although i think my cards (today) are nice and ok, i can't wait until i get the experience under my belt to come out with fabu cards like yours!
you leave some wonderful inspiration for all of us beginners, but sometimes can feel a bit intimidating.
please keep the intimidation coming, cuz from that intimidation, comes some wonderful inspiration.
so THANK YOU for intimidating me!!!
oh, and please keep up the fabu work! :

Paula, all I know is...I've seen so many different styles. When I went to Stampfest, I saw cards that my mouth dropped and I knew I couldn't do anything like them..Very intricate and layered..and layered...and layered..ok, you get the point....
Find what you feel most comfortable doing and build on that. Some people do cards where stamping is their thing, others make awesome cards with embellishments..There is so much out there and they are all good.
You've come a long way Paula. You are making cards!!! Something I know you hesitated to do...
Proud of you!!!! :

Everyone is better than I am and I don't mind at all. I simply don't do cards - unless I have to for a DT project. I appreciate a good handmade card, but have no serious interest in making them. Tho I do, sometimes. And Paula, you do just fine!
