Check this out and you'll understand why. I'm scheduled for surgery (hernia) on the 14th. Not sure if I can drive and make this event. So unfair!!!..and...I have a pass to get into Disney so I don't even have that expense to be concerned with...

Hmmm, stinks you may not be able to go, sounds like a BLAST! And cheap!

But, I need details on this surgery!! They decided for sure that it is a hernia? Is that what was causing the breathing issues??

Lisa, I have (had) the hernia, the CT scan was to give the surgeon an idea of what he was getting into..

..I'm thinking it may have something to do with the breathing, but that has not been determined yet by any professional. The hernia is another reason why I wasn't myself in Texas...

I called the cardio doctor yesterday and his nurse is checking into the stress test I had done last week. She said most likey it hasn't been dictated yet, but had they seen anything that was serious, it would have gotten attention right then and there. So, maybe that's a good sign.

I need to get this hernia taken care of..it really is a pain..NO PUN...Not sharp pains, crampy kind...

Wendi, this hernia has been around for several months. Guess if I pushed it, I could have had it done before Texas..but..NO WAY..then, I could have had it done this month, but Nina and Ian are coming to visit and then there is Disney with Jenny and Trisha...NO WAY..Stampfest..NO WAY..

.I know..at one point I had to say when it would be ok..So, I said AFTER my birthday..

Joe works on Disney property and would have no problem going in an hour or so late. He can drop me off at Epcot and set up my scooter for me. See, even if I can drive, lifting the scooter may be a problem. I can do it now (did it the other day), but after surgery, well....

Ok, so..I get there when Epcot opens. I can do whatever I want on my scooter!!..Love 'my' time anyway. Then, when time comes around for this event, I just go to where I need to be. Joe can pick me up when it's over and deal with the scooter!!

OH yeah...I'm ready now!!!..Let's hope this surgery goes as planned..
