Guess what I almost bought???

The Jukebox...yep, ...notice though, I said 'almost'...

I was at ACMoore and saw it on the shelf.  Guess it was in the wrong spot, because it did not have the right price under it and the price showing looked pretty good.

Well, I bring it to the register and....they actually took the 40% coupon...Oh, I'm excited now!!!..BUT...(notice the big BUT), it was originally $199.00!!! and though it would have been ONLY $120.00, I really didn't want to spend that much money.

No problem, it was something I would like to have, not need to have..KWIM?

I was telling Joe about it last night at dinner.  He commented...'why didn't you get it'...duh, like I pay the bills and I know what's in the account... Besides (and I didn't tell him this part), I just ordered about $80.00 worth of flowers and 'stuff'....Hey, it was a good sale; would have cost double if not more regular price.....

If you aren't familiar with the Jukebox, it works with the Cricut.

Hey, I just noticed something while getting the link.  They are selling it for $89.00!! What's ACMoore trying to pull...Think I'll give them a call...

here is what I found out...the one from ACMoore comes with 2 cartridges. I'm not interested in the two cartridges, and suggested to the manager they may want to consider selling it without the cartridges for those who just want the jukebox!..

Anyway, I'll be checking around...but then again, there isn't much difference between 120 and 89......and I would getting the two cartridges.....ok, I really don't need this...

Someone smack me in the head...!!!

you could always sell those carts you don't want.  :)

**ENABLING***

but the darn thing, THEN if you aren't going to use the 2 carts it comes with, put them on ebay! you'll get anywhere from $50-$75 EACH which would make your jukebox at least $100 cheaper.......think about it deary.

That's what i ende dup doing when i bought my cricut on ebay. after everything was said and done, i only paid about $120 (including shipping).

You girls are bad!!!!..
RobinB

so this thing only holds like 6 or so cartridges.  What's the advantage.  I already have more than it will hold.
lisa9er

Roe...onsale at www.creativexpress.com  I think it was 89.00

Robin...some people like to use multi carts for one cut, this keeps you from swapping out the carts mid cut...bad explanation...go to www.cricut.com and check it out, those ladies are amazing!

Lisa, I just saw where someone had it for 69.00, but that was yesterday so if it were Joanns, the sale is over.  I was in Michaels earlier and didn't see it at all and didn't have time to ask about it.

robin, Lisa got it right.  It works out well when you are using DS and you want to 'creat' something that would involve more than one or two cartridges.  The jukebox holds 6 cartridges.  Then, it looks like a master cartridge that goes into the machine.

For those of you who don't have DS here is how it works..., when you design something with the program, you are working on a mat 'via' the computer.  You click on the drop down page for the cartridge you want to use.  each time you want to add something from a different cartridge, you simply click on the drop down, and get the cartridge you want.

Now, when you go to cut, you will be told which cartridges you need to swich out.   Say you started with Base Camp (you need one on the Cricit to get started) and you used  Jasmine, Mini Mono, In My Garden and George. So, the message would tell you...insert Jasmine, you click ok...then it will tell you, Mini Mono, you switch out and click ok...and so on....

With the jukebox, if you know you are going to be using certain cartridges (may only 2 or all 6) and you have them in the jukebox, well...it will know and you don't have to switch out before cutting...

Now, the fun part...You cad stack 3 jukboxs together for a total of 18 cartridges..How's that for playing around with different cartridges???!!!....

Ok, I'm sold...
