A spinning card...Yep, penny and all..

Thanks to CarolB at Cricut who sent me the template and Betty Bee for inspiration!!

I've been wanting to do this since I saw it at my first swarm. The center ghost spins as it goes from one end to the other.

Die cuts are from Paper Dolls!!..Love that cartridge!!

Using yarn, the spider is hanging when you open the card.

ok, give me a sec...the penny is what's on the other side of the round pop dot. the ghost spins with the pop dot being the 'wheel'..

Rita, once I got started and knew what I was doing, no it was not hard.

This is my first, but I can explain what I did and that may help you or someone else make it.

this is a screen print of the template I used for the cut. (I'm showing the two different opening cards)

If you look at the size, you may get an idea and then just hand cut the opening. I left the side measurements so you can get an idea of size.

what you see on the screen shot will be put on top of a card. you must use thick double sided tape to give it some elevation.

Take a penny and center a round pop dot on it. Put that in the opening so now the penny will be behind the cut. I then put the ghost on the outter part of the pop dot. I had seen this done on the web when searching where another penny was used and then the decorative whatever. The round pop dot acts like a wheel.

My ghost sticks a little and it could be that his hand touches the other ghost. Maybe you do need the two pennys; I'll have to check with Betty.

I love these cards I tried to make one for my mom and dad's anniversary, I couldn't get it the penny's keep coming out of the hole I tried making the hole with scissors it don't work I need the thing to make the holes but I don't got one :(
