Dryer sheet cardI received a card that looked interesting from one of my ATC swappers at Cricut. I couldn't figure out what kind of "paper" was used so she told me it was done with a dryer sheet!..She choose to not use glitter, but I thought I would play around with it according to the site instructions.
Here is the website showing how it is done
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com.../tutorials/dryer_sheet_technique/
I stamped the front of a plain card and used glitter pens to color in the design. Then, sprayed it with adhesive, attached a 'used' dryer sheet and smoothed it with my fingers and then the brayer. I trimmed off the excess of the sheet. Sprinkled fine glitter and again patted it down into the sheet; went over it with the brayer. The design looked faded, so I gave it some stickles to make it pop again. I finished it off with hairspray to hold the glitter in place.

for sharing....but you will MAKE me go get spray adhesive to do this.
and I'm so cheap I rip my sheets into 3rds to make them last longer...I don't like them overly "soft" or stinky. so my card would have to be small. :)

Karen, I cut mine in half..I don't like over soft either.. ..Actually, they say soft towels don't obsorbed the water, so I don't feel like standing forever to dry off.. ..
Here's an idea. Do you have any Xyron machine? You could make little squares..:)
