Don't get discouraged :)Remember, you can always take good pics with your auto setting, so as you begin to branch beyond that, don't get discouraged that you don't get great shots. It takes time to learn. I just took a whole bunch of shots just to practice and got only a couple good ones. Now I seriously need to work on what 's what ....
And I hope to get some info to you on shutter speed, fstops, and aperture, and believe me, aside from those who really know this stuff, there's plenty to learn here.
I will look around for readable and easy to grasp lessons for all of us.
In the meantime, just get out there and shoot!

Also remember that the best thing is we are shooting digital so we can take a million pictures. Remember "film"??????

ok...........so..................i FINALLY put it down..and i'm starting
from scratch........reading reading reading..from the beginning!
think i was just used to using my lil canon..point and shoot

You can still just point and shoot, Mel! And you WILL get better! I promise!
