camera pouting issues!i could just cry 
remember that brand spankin new camera i got ..the nikon D60
gorgeous camera ...........right?
well...today...i invite a friend over...a professional photographer..and
he's gonna teach me how to use my camera..and all about the settings
so..........before he got here..i'm snappin a few pics..and all of a sudden
the camera is *dead*...i mean nothing is happening..can't even turn it on!
I'M FREAKING at this point! so...i remove the battery, put in a freshly charged one............nope...nothing still!
i then remove the battery, and the memory card..........put them back in...still nothing! now i'm really freaking.....
the guy comes through the door... ............he tries..nothing!
so............we thought maybe it's the batteries..........recharged again!
nope.......that didn't work! frustration is rising.....remember..i only got this about a week ago..........
ok...............so...............we RESET it!
nope..............NOTHING!
i phone the store............they tell me to do the same thing.. 
(i tell them........sorry.........already did it)
anyhoo, bottom line.............my camera is dead..don't know why
and i'm getting a replacement of EVERYTHING tomorrow!
i was looking forward to playing with my camera today and snappin
those pics...........sigh! :sad
enough of that

 off to pack it all up

Whoa!!!!!!!! Now that is stinky news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But they will replace the whole sheebang, yes? Of course! So so sorry you got a lemon!!!
Maybe you will now get great shots with the new one! Sure hope so!!!

Now mine works great, and so does Peter's new D90, so it's just a fluke, I am sure!

anyhoo, just got back home..they exchanged everything for me
so yep...i'm starting from scratch
haven't had a chance to put it together yet..will later this evening

my photographer friend..and NIKON (i phoned them) figures it's a digital component that just quit inside the camera...i quess it happens
first thing NIKON said.........is send it back
the store didn't even question it whoot whoot

Gee, I would expect no less considering you only had it for a couple of weeks!!..But, you never know with companies......
