The new newsletter not only shows some of the new product we've released (from Take Notes, Woolies, Pops and more) but it also announces a brand new contest - an ANNIVERSARY contest! Can you believe it? Basic Grey is almost FIVE YEARS OLD! Seriously! So here are the details:

We’re looking for two winners in our 5th Anniversary Contest (one layout winner, one card winner). Our layout category winner will receive a collection pack and the card category winner will receive a 6x6 paper pad, of either Lemonade or June Bug. The contest starts June 5th and ends June 17th. Join the celebration and upload your entry in our gallery at www.basicgrey.com using the title “Anniversary Card” or “Anniversary Layout.” The two lucky winners will appear in our July issue!

So get to posting those layouts and cards, everyone! We look forward to seeing your best stuff!

Now I wish I had bought some of the newer stuff to make a card with..hmmmm..How old do you think they would mind for using on this challenge?..I have O Baby Boy..

Advice:
Just wanted to remind you girls that BG loves for the layout/card to be ALL (if possible) their products. Make sure you use as much of "them" as you can, you have a greater chance at being picked.

just want to be clear...doesn't have to be anniversary themed right, just a contest because of their anniversary...

Trisha, I received your BG!!..Thanks, but...Don't you know the names of what you sent me? How about if I make something and you tell me what kit it was from. I checked on the BG site, but didn't have any luck..or patience..

Oh sorry, Roe. I just threw in scraps from two different kits. I had a piece of white cardstock separating the two.
One is called offbeat and I don't remember what else I put in there, I'd have to see it again.

Here is the card I made with Trisha's 'scrap' and my scraps of Oh Baby Boy. Well, I tried to do something nice and this is what I came up with. I love BG so why didn't I buy BG when I saw it? ugh..

Wow Lisa!!..that is so cool!!..Different style for you, but I can just imagine how easy and fun it was to work with that BG
