April Build a Layout - Step 6 Posted! It's time for a new Build a Layout! Wow! March went by so quickly!
Anywho, if you'd like to know how this works, please see the March Build a Layout thread for info.
Now, let's get to it!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
April Build a Layout Steps!
Step 1 (4/1): Choose one photo and the background paper you would like to use. You may use pp or cardstock.
Step 2 (4/7): Step 2: Using SCRAPS, make some flowers. You can freehand cut, use a flower punch, use your die cut machine, etc. I’d like to see three flowers made from scratch using both single color paper and some pattern paper. Think layered flowers.
Step 3 (4/10): Using SCRAPS again, you will be making some circles. You will be making 4 circles. You can use pp or cardstock. You can choose how small or large each circle is and can use any system to make the circle – die cut, punch, trace, etc
Step 4(4/15): Title Time – Time to pick out a title. I’d like for you to choose a title from a thread here: http://haveyourwaywithpaper.myfreeforum.org/forum15.php. You can also be inspired by a quote in the forum to turn create your title. Share your title with us in this thread and in the thread where you found your inspiration.
Step 5 (4/18): Step 5: Journaling: Take the largest circle you made. Use it for your journaling. If you have a stamp you’d like to use to put in the circle you may. You may also make your own lines. Just put your journaling in the largest circle.
Step 6 (4/27): Putting it all together!
1. Put your photo on the right side of the page. Make sure it is either along the right side of the background paper or with a slight border. You will want it to be centered a little more “up” than “down”. J
2. Scatter your flowers and circles on your layout. You may end up altering your flowers and circles to make them fit your layout design. But, you need to keep 3 flowers and 4 circles on the layout including the journaling circle.
3. Create your title, however you choose. Your title must go horizontal along the bottom of your layout.
4. You may do 2 more additional steps to the ones listed above to make the layout “complete”. That might include adding some rubons, inking, etc.
5. Share! Don’t forget to share your creation with us!
