Altered Box for my mom and dadSince we are moving just after the holidays, I wanted my parents to have something as a daily reminder of how much they will be missed. This is what I came up with.
The poem on top the box:
This is a very special gift
That you can never see.
The reason it's so special is,
It's just for you from me.
Whenever you are happy,
or even feeling blue.
You only have to hold
this gift and know
I think of you.
You never can unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied
Just hold the box close
to your heart,
It's filled with love inside.
The box is glued shut so they can never open it.

Katt, that is so special!!!!...You did a beautiful job on the box itself and I know they will just love it..especially with that sweet photo on top!!!..
