If you have a second email, go and sign up on their page (Michael's) and you can get a 50% off coupon. That is what we used. I got mine for $40.00, and cause we bought in Oregon, we got it tax free!

Way to go Katt!!!!
I have the BigShot, but use all the folders plus in my machine. Now remember, you don't have to use just Cuttlebug dies. It's just a matter of knowing how to set your plates and you are good to go.
Last month, all the DT's at cuttlebug challenge received the newest folders from Provo Craft. There are more that we haven't received, some focusing on Christmas.
Cuttlebug Challenge is one of the recognized sites from Provo Craft. Stop by and see what is being done. Lots of tips and ideas. Even though we use other sponsors, we must use an embossed something.
If I can be of any help..please ask!!
Oh, one of the best papers to emboss is Core'dinations. You can buy the sheets at Joanns; they were recently on sale and still may be.

I have a Slice that I use very little. I have the old guillotine sizzix which I really don't use much anymore. Really need to use them more. The cricut looks really cool... but not sure how much I would use it to justify spending that kind of cash.

Michelle, when you do get a Cricut, DO NOT get rid of your other cutting tools.
Each of what you have does something different. I have a Big Shot (started off with the Sizzix) which is great for using dies on material you can't use in the Cricut. And think of the embossing, Nestibilities, etc that can be used in your Sizzix. I don't have the Slice, but I can see where that would be good to have if you already have it or in my case, someone gave it to me....
So, on with the Cricut. It's only going to be a good investment if you use it. I use mine a lot. I started with the 'baby' and then got the Expressions. If you decide to get a Cricut, wait until you have the little extra to spend and get the Expresisons.
As for the cartridges, there is so much to choose from so get something you know you will use often and then buy when you can and the cartridge is on sale. I'll admit, I don't use all the things I can with my cartridges, but...that's my fault.
