It's not a layout, but Robin has created some sketches! Here's one for a 2 pager (and she is of 2 pagers). I know I have a couple of events with tons of photos that this sketch could be used for. Thanks, Robin!

I know this layout has already been highlighted, Robin, but I'm so drawn to it. I just adore this amazing picture and I want to know if you would share a little bit about the history of this picture (and this couple).

That is my grandmother and grandfather on their Honeymoon. I believe it was taken in the Chicago area(unless they traveled away for their honeymoon...don't really know). Portrait places with backdrops like this were popular in that era...I did a little googling to find info on that. The picture itself was brittle and crumbling and my mother took it to a photography place to have it photo copied to save it, but that was long ago, probably in the 70's, so the quality was not that great. Plus she did not take it to a very professional restorative place either...just the local discount store that did film processing. She made copies for all of us kids and I've had mine in a cute antique looking frame for many years. I took it out and had my own copies made for my kids and this LO.
My grandmother was the daughter of Swedish immigrants. My grandfather was German and orphaned very young and was raised on the local Indian reservation then in the area. My grandfather died when I was only about a year or 2 old, so I don't remember him. My Gramma died when she was about 93 when I was in my 20's.

Just a silly picture of my silly cat...he is always so playful. The picture is not that great, but the memories it brings back to me is priceless. The cat playing under the wrinkle in the rug. Notice, you can see the white fur of the other cat in the top left corner, whom he was hiding from.
