Roe - Each would be done on a different setting. I shoot almost exclusively on manual, often on manual focus, too. I honestly don't know what I am doing half the time, but I concentrate on the shot and the lighting. I do change the white balance for the light I have. And occasionally change my f stop. I have a whole lot to learn, but I do realize that though the technical stuff is important, taking a a well-framed shot is essential. Sometimes I am just plain lucky, other times it's simply a lot of concentration.
I love doing this. It is very satisfying.
