A friend of mine got me interested in it and I just picked up a few supplies here & there and started and it grew from there. That was about 7 or 8 years ago.
I have done the majority of my albums in the past 4 years though, at first I didn't scap regularly.

Do you cook a big meal for Thanksgiving and have your family home or do you go somewhere or just have a quiet Thanksgiving with your husband?

We always travel to have TG with our family in Oklahoma. My husband's mother is still living and I expect we will always go there as long as she's able to have us.
My parents are deceased but I spend most of my time with my sister and her family, we are very close. I love TG and always look forward to going 'home' to be with family. Some years our children travel there to be with us and other years they spend with their spouses family.

I like to read mostly fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Beverly Lewis - I LOVE to read about the Amish, Elizabeth Berg and Lisa Samson are also favorites - alot of their stories are about the lives of women.
Yes, I LOVE to bake, I am famous in town for my brownies (and they aren't even from scratch! BUT I have a secret ingredient)
And YES - I'm a firm believer of dessert first!!!

She's such a sweetheart! I totally agree and I've known her for about 50 years now. I HOPE you get to come to my house again this year for TG... and your kidlets too. We will pray for a pretty day, otherwise, we'll bust out the seams on the walls. :)

I knew someone was going to ask about those brownies!
Take a BETTY CROCKER Fudge brownie mix and mix according to the directions and then add (secret ingredient) MINI chocolate chips. If you make the small size then add 1/4 cup and if you make the large size then add 1/2 cup but they have to be the MINI's, I've tried the regular ones and it's not the same, I do not know why. Just cook them according to the directions, don't overcook and they will be very chewy & fudgelike.
High school was o.k., I never did like schoolwork much, I did enjoy the social aspect though. I had many friends and I was editor of the year book in my SR. year. I also got married at the end of my SR. year.
I enjoyed Speech class because we performed a play both years I was in that class. Driver's Ed was fun too. I liked the more interactive classes.

No, we didn't go to school together. We were introduced by mutual friends. It's really pretty unbelievable but we met in January and married in March, I graduated in May and we've been married 33 years! I agree it is pretty wonderful!
