Ok, ladies...here is your chance to try something that may be a little different for most of you.....Digital stamps.
You've seen my cards using them and now it is your chance to do the same.
I found a site that you can download free digital stamps; I found two from this site. http://www.fred-she-said.blogspot.com/
When you get there, you will see the flower stamp. Follow the download instructions and save in a folder where you can find it. If you do not want to download it, please PM me and I will send it to you.
I thought it would be fun if we all had the same stamp and see the different takes with it.
You can make a card or layout and use it more than one time on your project.
Please give credit to the site (it's only fair)
How to open your stamp:
Open Word
Got to Insert
Click on PICTURE and then FROM FILE
Find your stamp and insert.
Once it's on your 'paper', click on it. That will box it for sizing.
Now you can print it any size you want/need
Once printed, do what you want to pretty it up.

See, I told you it was easy....
If you downloaded the first flower on the site, check out what else they have that is free. On the right side under 'label's it will say digi-freebie...check it out.
Now, if only I can find where I got all those other stamps...

Katt, nothing.....
Sometimes, we forget what is right under our noses....
I've used clipart, but never gave it any thought of printing it and coloring it to use seperatly on something.
Later today, I will post some clipart that I found on a site that is being shared. I'm sure we all can find something, but it's nice when someone finds it for us...
I'm impressed with those that can draw their own design which again, is something I never thought of and yet it's right there in the 'middle' of my brain..duh....

Hey Roe, While browsing the site that you mentioned...I noticed the post a little ways down Big Dahlias. Do you know what mediums she used to color in the flower?

Isn't that gorgeous!!..
She mentiones watercolor, but not what and then mentions OMS, but I don't know what she means.
I was going to post a comment and ask because I was curious too. I've seen awesome work done with the copic markers, but I hate to spend the money since they are so expensive and if you can get the same look with waterpencils..well...
If I find out what is used, I'll post it..If you find out...let us know!!!

Roe, I was researching on her blog and some of the other blogs she has listed and saw that they use Prisma colour pencils, Sansador for blending. Someone mentioned Gamsol, and I remember you saying that you have used that. Also chalk pastels and OMS, whatever that is.....I think I'm going to go to Joanns this week.

Will try!
I was also thinking it might be fun to scan our great stamps (the acrylic ones with that black ink design) and then share...I am sure this has already been presented as an idea, but just a thought.

Erin, that sound like an idea!!
Here is a card I made and though the 'painting' took me a while, the card was a quick put together. Not sure why I went with orange again; I'm trying to stay away from orange.....I'll put this one away and pull out in the fall....
I used H2O and Niji Pearlescent watercolors. I'm going to try one with pencils next..
