Last year, I had uploaded pics of an altered advent calendar I had gotten from Starbucks. Well, Starbucks is selling these again this year, and if you have small children at home, you HAVE to go get one to alter! It is SO MUCH fun, and the kids can even help decorate it! I got 2 last year when they were on clearance because it was so close to Christmastime.
They have little candy samples in each cubby, but you can put anything in there you want. I'm going to have one for each boy and put things like hot wheels, candy, money, etc. in each cubby. The best thing is, I used ALL SCRAPS for this and just Mod Podge'd everything on! :)

Oh...I am glad you posted this! I hope they go on clearance again. I am determined buy some sort of advent calendar on clearance at the end of the season for next year! This would be a great one and I would have a whole year to get it done!

It really doesn't take long at all to do. I used a Christmas "Slab", some extra rubons and stickers, and that was pretty much it! Great way to use up your Christmas stash!
